Something is wrong with this picture.

The older sister brings the younger sister to her apartment to provide her with a good, healthy, condusive environtment for studying.

The younger sister stocks up the older sister's empty fridge, cleans her room, supplies her with toiletries and folds her clothes.

o_O'' roles are switching faster than i thot.

**ps: have you listen to how toddlers comminicate? not when they're talking to dull adults, but when they're talking amongst themselves. Its amazingly interesting! Cant help but laugh to yourself . A great way to remind yourself that life was meant to be fun =)) **

A NON-jiwang post.

Friends are precious.
These are a few of my dear friends, some of the things that remind me of them, and why they are so special to me.

Eversince- I-cant-remember-when friends:

Eunice Chu~ reminds me of clams! Trying to be tough on the outside, but actually a beautiful delicate pearl on the inside. =)

Tan Ian Zing~ reminds me of grand sunsets. The many shades of purple, pink, red, orange and blue to me, reflects her strong unique personality.

Adelin Yong~ reminds me of clouds. Because she is so blur! Haha..and clouds are also very cute!

A-Levels friends:

Low Li Shan~ reminds me of bunny rabbits. Really, because she’s forever bouncing about cheering ppl up! =)

Yih Seong~ reminds me of the wind. Because of his patience and single mindedness in achieving his goals =)

Jeremy Gerard Nunis~ reminds me of…haha.. actually the brother I never had. Maybe because of his sense of humor and cos he resembles the kid I still am (still loves cartoons =P)

Paul Kong~ reminds me of a lion. Not cos he’s fierce ok?! Because he takes pride in the things he does, and actually cares for the people close to him (tho he’s not very good at showing it yet. Sorry I always poke fun at you lar =P)

Siaw~ reminds me of a jedi. Now i dont watch much Star Wars and Star Trek stuff, but i think jedi's are superpowerful but at the same time humble people. Just like Chye Hing!

Chow~ reminds me of 'yellow smileyface emocon on msn'. The smile of his face is so stuborn, its almost impossible to wipe off wan =)

IMU friends:

Angelene Teo Fungus ~ reminds me of fungus cos that’s her name! haha.. no ler, sunflowers ler. Because like a flower, she is caring and like the sun, she is so full of life!

Chan Yee Pei~ reminds me of oranges. I love love oranges because their warm bright colour is always so approachable and the citrus smell they give out just put ppl at ease with them!

Geoffrey~ reminds me of grass. Because he is a breath of fresh air.

Hwei Wan~ reminds me of the seashells. Because at the beginning she can be so quiet and soft spoken, but when you take the time to look closer you will find that she is so much sweeter than she allows the world to know.

Xandra~ actually reminds me of red cheong sams. Cos they speak of her classic elegance.

Crz Poi~ reminds me of cars! Because cars a loud =P keke… But whenever there is a car around, it also means that there is an opportunity for a great, exciting adventure. *vroom vroom*

Rooney aka Ridha~ reminds me of Daffy Duck from the Looney Toons. I really cannot understand why also.

Wan Jen Lye~ reminds me of Chef Wan! Maybe because they share the same surname. But maybe also because he seems like someone who will take care of his family really well. (lucky Cheong Sam! =P )

Hazwan~ reminds me of bubbles.Cos he's always laughing and making people around him laugh too. =P

Mustaqim~ reminds me of a box of crayons. Not only because of his obvious artistis talents, but also because of his super colourfull personality that allows him to fit perfectly well with any group.

Joanne~ reminds me of a powerpuff girl! She's just too nice and sweet ler *pinch pinch*

Wah liao....so sorry, AGAIN i really couldnt stop the jiwang-ness from spilling out of my mouth. But u cant blame me for loving you people so so much right?
This is dedicated to the angels that have been so kind to me. There are plenty more out there that i didnt get to mention.
I just wanna make sure that 20-30 years from now, when we each have our own families and careers, I can look back and smile at the great fun we all had. And remember each of you and your special, unique personalities that changed my life for the better.
**Denise sends jiwang-ness into the air!**

To the Wind...

To the Wind…

I used to be able to let my hair down around you,
Now I only hold my jacket tighter.

I used to dance with freedom to your gentle rhythm,
Now I only run for cover when I feel you near.

I used to capture your beauty in words, colours and song,
Now I dare not even speak of you for fear of breaking down again.

I used to go to you to have all my troubles blown away,
Now I’ve grown so proud I don’t even know my own problems anymore.

I used to memorize your familiar scent, like crisp warm summer,
Now I search for it, but in vain.

I used to have heaven’s most comforting slumbers in the confidence of your sturdy arms,
Now my eyes sleep, but my soul never rests.

I used to chase you till the end of the rainbows,
Now I know there are some places you could never have brought me along.

The wind,
A dream, an illusion,
Never actually there, but yet, always there.

Always here.

What do SOME people do on wednesday nites?

Well...

Some people hop into maroon wiras and drive to sunway just cos they want to.

Some people order 2 grilled seafood platters for 2 cos they're REALLY hungry.

Some people top that order off by adding another order of shrimp costing rm19.90. (lishan)

Some people find out that rm19.90 was for 5 miserably small prawns. ( well, alot of people)

Some people order ice lemon/peach tea and drown themselves in it by taking refills cos they just wanna make the rm5.90 they're paying more worthit. (hazwan)

Some people dont know that ice lemon/peach teas are bottomless at Manhattan Fish Market and order TWO cups (rooney) *doink*

Some people hang around MPH after dinner until they are the last customers and store attendants have to off the lights to give them a hint.

Some people resort to watching ice hockey at the skating ring cos all the other stores are closing for the night.

Some people laugh at the uncle in the car infront of them for not being able to reach the ticket machine from his car window. (me)

Some people knock their head on their car window and find out that they too cannot reach the ticket machine from their car. (me)

Some people, while waiting for the fried mushrooms to be ready, proudly show off their collection of erasers (not just any erasers mind you, the umber COOL ones with diff country flags on em) they've been collecting and carrying around in their backpacks since primary school. ( allan)

Some people drive around sri petaling cos they not sure where to go.

Some people finally pull over at a mamak stall cos the saw the dvd uncle having a drink.

Some people buy 6dvds (buy5 free1), through the car window from the uncle. (talk about drive-thru-dvd huh?)

Some people got super stamina and watch ' Snakes on a Plane' , ' The Covenant ' , and ' Open Season ' in one sitting. No sweat man! (hazwan, me *high five!*)

Some people just too tofu and collapse after the 2nd movie. (weaklings : shan, rooney *nenenebubu*)

Some people get 1hour of sleep before being sent off to seremban for nursing week at 6 in the morning. (rooney)

Some people still have 3 more dvds to finish!

Yup,thats just a summary of SOME people's (Allan,Shan,Rooney,Hazwan,Suyin)
wednesday nights.
And how was yours? =)

The poor old guinea pigs...

BUT not anymore!
Fear not lil furry friends.
GIPSIM is here!
Just finished Pharmaco lab. Must admit testing drugs on computerised guinea pig illeums is kinda fun. Am imagining how it would be like seeing the REAL illeum shrink everytime i increase the antagonist/agonist concentration. WoOoOoOoOooow.....

It rained today.

But love, I’ve come to understand, is more than 3 words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other everyday.

Lifts.

What do you think about the lifts in vista?
More specifically, the lifts in vista B1?

I always thot they were too dark, as fast as a watching paint dry, freaky, stinky and overall crappy.
The only thing worth noticing was the reflective mirror like walls they have. Not bad for any last minute checking of attire/hairdo/stained face/food stuck in teeth scenarios.

But yesterday, somebody changed my perception for me.

I was in the lift on my way up when it stopped at Ground Floor ( vistaB1 has a -2 floor by the way. strange but true). And on instinct i pulled out my keychain with the pepper-spray. Many people have told me it would be useless against an attacker cos i would either freeze with fright, or they will use the weapon against me instead. But that's besides the point here.

So i took the pepper-spray out, thinking i would protect myself from any would-be attackers.

In came an elderly indian man. He smiled, still a lil suspicious i offered a forced smile back. We had small talk about how the buttons in the lift were crappy ( for some reason, the button for my floor doesnt light up) . Was still uncormfortable and apprehensive through out the conversation. Hey, cant blame me right, with all the news we read about in the papers and the 'flasher' running loose around vista *shudder*

But i must admit, i was more than happy that my doubts were proven wrong this time round. Because before he left he said with a most sincere of smiles:

"Take good care of yourself alright, take care. And once in awhile, give yourself a treat =) "

And after going through a week of rollercoaster emotions and the stress of preparing for the upcoming exams, it was just so upLIFTING to hear such sincere words from someone i hardly knew. To know that despite the coldness we sometimes find ourselves focusing too much on, there is still so much goodness and kindness in the world, it gave me a much needed renewed feeling of hope.

Do I believe in Angels on earth? haha....
I dont know, but mayb, just mayb if we showed the people around us that we care more often, it would be heaven enough.

To that uncle... Whoever you are, i didnt even manage get your name. Thank you. Even if it was the most simple thing one human could offer to another, a SMILE. I thank you.

ps: Look out for your own Angels out there people! They are out there somewhere, just gota open your eyes and hearts =)

The time now is 1.03pm

I'm in the elab.

The other 190-somthing students are waiting in the lecture hall.

We is the sitting ducks. Waiting for the bomb of our 1st summative results to drop.

*silence*
