those i saw in HKL are autism + ADHD. i can't stand the 15min when they were in the clinic. so distracting. the whole morning we had like 6 patients with such diagnosis and we were almost dying.
really salute and appreciate their parents. they are really wonderful. we can't stand that few minutes, but they were with them since they were born...
I saw this mom with a kid with quite severe cerebral palsy... n yet d mom is perfectly happy n cuddly with the kid who now needs the orthotic brace thingy all the way up to the waist.
Parents are way more interesting to observe than the kids.
i'm back tooo...:P
Mike, Jem: thanks for sharing ur experiences ,just adds more to the admiration i already have for these parents. such a privilege to know them. if i could be half as good a parent they are, my children will be damn lucky buggers lor =p
