ARGH... remind me again, why I'm watching downloaded episodes of teen drama and not preparing slides for Dissociative Disorders?

Anyways Episode 25 of Season 2 Gossip Girl (yes, i confess), made me think about girlfriends.

You meet them everywhere in kindie sharing porridge and tea biscuits, in sekolah rendah combining forces to wage war on the ultimate enemies: boys, in sekolah menengah taking turns to teman each other to the toilet (only god knows how its been programmed in us that we cant go alone), in college learning to balance our new found freedom and dreaming our big dreams , in university catching our stars for us when we almost lost our dreams.

Though each girl will have to carry on to do her own fabulous thing in life,

a girlfriend never gets old.

Though we get older, we forget names, we start wearing black, we lose some hair, we change,

just a simple chat with that crazy ol' woman and we are girlfriends again =)

Young sis Lily : So where's your car?

Big sis Carol : How do you think i got you outta here? (having just bailed her sister out of jail)

Young sis Lily : You sold ur car?! what are we gonna do? wanna walk?

Big sis Carol :walking in L.A? Wow sis i have SO much more to teach u. C'mon its us, we travel in style no matter how we travel.
