I like to movie movie!

Zokay more than half of my 2 weeks break is over, i have *count fingers* okay maybe we shouldn't count fingers just yet, too depressing.
What have accomplished in this holiday? How have i contributed towards creating a better world for us all? What great adventures have i been up to?

=P
Since i cant remember what happened at the very beginning of the holiday lets work it backwards.

TODAY! i watched "The Green Mile", I've had the dvd with me for quite a long time but forgot about it till today while i was eating Cococrunch. It's a beautiful story, i cant remember the last time a movie made me cry but this one sure did. The character John Coffey (like the drink just with a different spelling) was so sweet, innocent, and in awe of everything, and his kindness is not the kind of kindness we see everyday. Sure there are allot of kind people around, but sometimes kind people are kind for not very kind reasons themselves. His kindness flowed from somewhere much purer than the want to prove something to others, or to gain that "feel good" feeling for doing something commendable, it came with the ready willingness to abandonment of his own safety and comfort without a second thought. He was played by Michael Clarke Duncan, this huge fella, but something just tugs your heart when you see his innocent face in awe at stars, or corn bread, or wet leaves, or black and white movies you just wanna give him a big hug!!!

Gettin' to my knees. Prayin'. Lord in Heaven, sorry for all the bad shit I've done, all the people I've trampled on, I hope they forgive me, I won't do it again, that's for sure.
- The janitor rehearsing as an inmate during a rehearsal. They rehearse the whole process of execution when the prisoner is either meeting with their families or called to the office, just to make sure nothing goes wrong on the day of execution. Gosh I'm glad the electric chair is not in use in this country. Notice his pun "that's for sure"? because if he were really on death row he had no chance of doing it again now would he?

This is a shocking experience!
-Another trying to be funny moment when he sat in the electric chair-
Do you believe that if a man repents enough for what he done wrong, than he'll get to go back to the time that was happiest for him and live there forever? Could that be what heaven's like?
-Arlen Bitterbuck on death row-

"I'm tired, boss. Tired of bein' on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. Tired of not ever having me a buddy to be with, or tell me where we's coming from or going to, or why. Mostly I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world everyday. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time. Can you understand? "
-John Coffey-

He kill them with their love. With their love fo' each other. That's how it is, every day, all over the world.
-John Coffey-

And allot more quotes but i'd be in danger of writing the whole movie script here if i dont stop. haaaah satisfaction of watching a nice movie =)

Then some time back I finished the 1st part of Heroes season III! Ish i love Heroes, but somehow not many people I know watch it. I still cant decide which super power I would choose for myself, maybe Micah's ability to "talk to machines" need to bust the berlambak viruses that are attracted to my comp, or Mr. Linderman's power to "give life"because i really wanna keep a potted plant in my room but everything i buy seems to die on me, ahh decisions decisions.

Other movies that have been sucking the time and life outta me:

Twilight : Hey... it wasn't THAT bad what, and I've been converted to a Robert Pattinson fan! Yea i used to think he was for screaming preteens since my youngest sister is a huge fan, but nevermind la for a cute vampish guy i rela turun my standard and join them in the screaming.

Jack and Jill vs the World: Hmmm okay okay only la... abit cliche
Bride Wars : Hmmm cliche too but Anne Hathaway is so pretty! And no matter how bad it is, a wedding movie can never be too bad because you can admire the flowers, dresses, cakes, deco, and dresses ohh i said that already haha.
Wild Child: Hmmm this weird, cos i actually liked this teenager movie over the previous 2 adult movies. Me growing backward too now?
Madagascar 2: I didn't enjoy the 1st movie but this one made me laugh haha i love the self absorbed penguins lar..
August Rush:

Ehhh..thats all meh? I thought i watched more movies that those.
OHH! must not forget, lotsa lotsa astro:

There is this show on the Travel & Living channel, "Jon and Kate plus 8". It's adorable! It documents the lives of a couple with 8 kids, and the kids are S.H.O C.U.T.E!!! Yea i know, was talking to Pei the other day and we both concluded out oestrogen's starting to sing, oh wells.

Finished the old books i left half way when i traded my life for a life in clinical school. Ahhh new excuse to buy more? erm... me think not la, but then again.... people say we gotta spend to help the recession right? hehehehe...

Okay got exercise abit lar.
And got makan alot lar.
I forgot what this post was supposed to be about, i think i had it structured in my brain awhile ago but hmm...
it looks like such a long post maybe now.

OH! and i gotta figure out what i wanna do for my semester8 selective and elective!
It will be from Jan - Feb 2010, basically need to find a medical posting for 4weeks at any hospital local or abroad, probably local la. And i have an option of doing a non medical for the other 4 weeks. Of course when i heard that imagination went wild, can i go africa visit my dad's uncle? or mission trip? emergency medicine? Flying Doctors? But thats me la, big imagination, when it comes down to the actually planning : nada. We'll see how it goes, my dad actually gave me green light when i asked him about Flying Doctors, the same father who didnt allow me to go Redang for holiday on the pretense that i cant swim, maybe he doenst know about the crashes huh?
