The Duchess visited

It has been a good short week spent with Lesley back home.

She arrived on the 23rd, but I had class on the 24th so I managed to join them for the annual Christmas dinner at Andrew's place. 24th - 29th was spent in subang with them (not real quality time I'm afraid, i kept fretting about the upcoming TBL's and reports. I'm guilty of over worrying hmm shall be my new year's resolution then; to stop worrying), 30-31st had classes, 31st-1st came back to subang, driving back for class again tomorrow the 2nd day of this brand new year. Holidays are getting shorter, public holidays and festivities are starting to mean less. I guess I'm finally beginning to see the type of life i signed up for, its one thing to hear about it and another to go through it, of course this is the mildest of the mild what I'm going through, compared to the real houseofficers and medical officers who have to be on-call half the time, probably in a state 8hours from home. I still cant figure out how people do it, this whole business of growing up, how do you tear yourself away from being a child into being an emotionally independent adult? I wont complain, because i don't want pity, nor do i want to take pity on myself, but it does tug my heart each week i get into that lil old car (shite why does it sound like I'm complaining? im not complaining! it's just whats really happening)

OH ya! Lesley got an offer to study dentistry at IMU! Part of the reason she was so stressed during the short Christmas break was trying to decide if she wanted to stay in AIMST or transfer to IMU. The obvious reasons for IMU would be proximity to home, i dared not open my mouth too much because my clearly my judgment would have been clouded by my desire to see her home. But after talking to a friend in IMU, and allot of discussions, she has decided to finish what she started at AIMST. Which i am proud to say, was a very wise and matured decision on her part, of course she would like to be closer to home but she objectively chose what was best for her future and i admire that =) So ya, she is returning back to Kedah this saturday, but will be back soon for the chinese new year's holiday. Congratulate her ok! she made a very brave decision and we support her 100%.

Our beds are all nicely made, shirts well ironed, jeans hung neatly, tables cleared of junk, memang can tell from a mile away that Lesley Tan Suwen has been at work lar =p

Okay.. I'm going back tomorrow for a short class, better go prepare.
Hmmm i hardly write like this, this casual outpouring of whats on the happenings of my week, of course it ain't as entertaining to read compared to bimbotic accounts of non functioning taps or toiletbowls but it feels good, of course i might look at this a week from now and kick myself for being so boring and transparent.

Felling a lil feverish, maybe should bid the world an early g'night.

i think i used the phase "of course" at least 8 times in the writing of this post. lets add another lar.
Is Denise hot?
