New-old

The new-old phone is here.

By that i mean, with ALOT of help from Lesley, i managed to sneak out and buy the identical phone i lost about 2 weeks back (still kicking myself on the hind for that genius act). And i must say, when so much ringgit is being pinched out of your own wallet, it is P-A-I-N-F-U-L-L.
Every rm50 note i lay on the counter felt like it weighted a ton.

First rm50 = Ok Denise be strong
Second rm50= You can do this, just...stop thinking about all the food you will be missing out on
Third rm50= Tha disney Rat movie cant be THAT good, you can live without movies for awhile
Fouth rm50 = You dont need a squash raquet, you dont even EXERCISE!
Fifth rm50= Aiyo, so memalukan have to borrow money frm lil sister. *sticks sorry head in the ground*
Sixth rm50= Is this nightmare ever gonna END?
Seventh rm50= oOo..that girls's shoes quite cute leh
Eighth rm50= *slaps self*
Ninth rm50= Ouch that hurt Denise! Oh..bye bye rm50 yang tersayang...
Tenth rm50= tahAaAaAaaan
Eleventh rm50=anyways "the love of money is the root of all evil" yes yes just keep yourself reminded of that
Twelveth rm50= Somebody hold me! *faints*

THAT was alot of money.

Then the kind sales lady must have kesian me, cos she gave me back : RM1.00 change, and a free SIM card.

Gosh...this phone had better last me for the rest of my mortal life or else...

Anyways after getting my new-old phone, and new MAXIS number (wohoo! i am now contactable even in the library! Bye bye horrid digi coverage!) i came home to find out i was invited to dinner =)

Adelin's "friend" was here for holidays, so we were to meet up with Ian Zing and Jin Thian for dinner/supper. While getting ready to go out, i had my first scare of the evening. WHERE WAS MY PHONE????
I panicked! Ordered Rachel to perform a search and rescue routine through out the house. *phew* found it in my bag which is geniusly threw around the studyroom.

Then Adelin picked me up and we made way to Ian Zing's house. We trooped into Jin Thian's car and ended up in ss14 for steamboat which i wasnt supposed to eat taking into consideration my financial status. Then i had my second scare of the evening WHERE WAS MY PHONE?????
I panicked! But it was no where to be found.

So no choice lor, survived dinner without a nervous breakdown by indulging in animated conversation. But dinner was fun! Been such a long time since i've had makan with friends since the holidays started. heehee.. and i DID end up eating in the end, despite my attempt to practice self control *sigh*

Habis makan, habis cakap, habis gelak mau buat apa lagi?
Balik rumah cari handphone la!!!

At the end of the night, we found the new-old phone taking a break in the back seat of Adelin's PURPLE wira (Adelin doesnt know the colour of her own car, so must remind her). *phew*

Sometimes it really feels like i wasnt destined to own high tech phones.

ps: and the countdown to the new semester starts.
