At times like these
Only the memories make you want to move foward
Only tiredness keeps you awake at all times of the night.
*Mental notes* gahh..denise, you realise you always emo right before exams? perfect timing girl *slaps self* (softly la of course)
At times like these
I tell myself i can get through this
I tell myself i've been alright so far and so the remaining days will alright as well
I tell myself i will get through this
At times like these
I refuse to get through it.
"LORD You seem so far away a million miles or more it seems today. And though i havent lost my faith, i must confess right now that it's hard for me to face. But i dont know what to say, and i dont know where to start"
It's ironic that the song i am supposed present this coming weekend speaks so much about my life at the current moment.
Lord i know that i am not alone. I know You never left me because Your love, speaks for itself. But it still hurts, and i still find myself questioning. Lord, i dont want to keep wondering anymore, give me peace. Amen.

Wisdom.
The upper left wisdom tooth is growing, and biting on the lower gums.

Isnt there a less painfull way of gaining wisdom?
Aging aint that fun no more.
No more fried chicken.

Bah Humbug!

When i should be studying...
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To taste the sweetness of the warm sun against my face
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To sample the stillness of the moon
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To remind myself how to laugh from the depths of my soul
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To savor the satisfaction of quite solitude, letting the mind explore whatever it wants to explore, and not think about what ‘They’ say I should think about
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To give myself time to mourn for things that should have been mourned for a long time ago
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To give myself time to celebrate the things that should have been celebrated a long time ago
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
To take a good, deep, long breath
Breaking away from the world just for awhile,
Just to dive right back in.
Don’t we all want to escape? Even for the littlest millisecond? =p

*rwar*
Watched Jurassic Park with the sisters today (well, most of the show anyways, cos when the scary parts came we changed the channel)
oOo..and i really love the theme song they play for the movie, so uplifting!
haha...though i've watched the movie before, i was very young back then. And you know usually when you watch shows as a kid, you tend to forget to listen to the script or rather you dont UNDERSTAND the script and thus you come up with your own imaginary plot for the movie picking up bits a pieces you remember from the movie later on.
I've distorted a few movies in my lifetime as a kid. Anyways, THIS time i paid attention to script and caught this pretty interesting exchange between the male Mathematician and the female Paleontologist in the movie. (cant remember their names)
Cos the movie was a bout these scientist bringing dinasours back to life using left over bits of DNA they found in a mosquitoe trapped in a piece of amber mah, and the Mathematician was against the idea cos to him Nature cannot be contained and played around with.
So he made a sarcastic comment sounding like this:
God creates dinosaurs
God destroys dinosaurs
God creates man
Man destroys God
Man create dinasours
To which the equally sarcastic but hotter female botanist added:
Dinosours eat man
And woman inherit the earth =)
