What do SOME people do on wednesday nites?

Well...

Some people hop into maroon wiras and drive to sunway just cos they want to.

Some people order 2 grilled seafood platters for 2 cos they're REALLY hungry.

Some people top that order off by adding another order of shrimp costing rm19.90. (lishan)

Some people find out that rm19.90 was for 5 miserably small prawns. ( well, alot of people)

Some people order ice lemon/peach tea and drown themselves in it by taking refills cos they just wanna make the rm5.90 they're paying more worthit. (hazwan)

Some people dont know that ice lemon/peach teas are bottomless at Manhattan Fish Market and order TWO cups (rooney) *doink*

Some people hang around MPH after dinner until they are the last customers and store attendants have to off the lights to give them a hint.

Some people resort to watching ice hockey at the skating ring cos all the other stores are closing for the night.

Some people laugh at the uncle in the car infront of them for not being able to reach the ticket machine from his car window. (me)

Some people knock their head on their car window and find out that they too cannot reach the ticket machine from their car. (me)

Some people, while waiting for the fried mushrooms to be ready, proudly show off their collection of erasers (not just any erasers mind you, the umber COOL ones with diff country flags on em) they've been collecting and carrying around in their backpacks since primary school. ( allan)

Some people drive around sri petaling cos they not sure where to go.

Some people finally pull over at a mamak stall cos the saw the dvd uncle having a drink.

Some people buy 6dvds (buy5 free1), through the car window from the uncle. (talk about drive-thru-dvd huh?)

Some people got super stamina and watch ' Snakes on a Plane' , ' The Covenant ' , and ' Open Season ' in one sitting. No sweat man! (hazwan, me *high five!*)

Some people just too tofu and collapse after the 2nd movie. (weaklings : shan, rooney *nenenebubu*)

Some people get 1hour of sleep before being sent off to seremban for nursing week at 6 in the morning. (rooney)

Some people still have 3 more dvds to finish!

Yup,thats just a summary of SOME people's (Allan,Shan,Rooney,Hazwan,Suyin)

The poor old guinea pigs...

Back then...in the dark ages... evil scientist, pahrmacists and doctors used to test the efficacy of medical drugs on the poor lil creatures illeum.

BUT not anymore!
Fear not lil furry friends.
GIPSIM is here!
Just finished Pharmaco lab. Must admit testing drugs on computerised guinea pig illeums is kinda fun. Am imagining how it would be like seeing the REAL illeum shrink everytime i increase the antagonist/agonist concentration. WoOoOoOoOooow.....
(i need to get myself a hobby. FAST)
ps: i think i'm beginning to like FIA's slang o_O''

It rained today.

But love, I’ve come to understand, is more than 3 words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other everyday.

Lifts.

What do you think about the lifts in vista?
More specifically, the lifts in vista B1?

I always thot they were too dark, as fast as a watching paint dry, freaky, stinky and overall crappy.
The only thing worth noticing was the reflective mirror like walls they have. Not bad for any last minute checking of attire/hairdo/stained face/food stuck in teeth scenarios.

But yesterday, somebody changed my perception for me.

I was in the lift on my way up when it stopped at Ground Floor ( vistaB1 has a -2 floor by the way. strange but true). And on instinct i pulled out my keychain with the pepper-spray. Many people have told me it would be useless against an attacker cos i would either freeze with fright, or they will use the weapon against me instead. But that's besides the point here.

So i took the pepper-spray out, thinking i would protect myself from any would-be attackers.

In came an elderly indian man. He smiled, still a lil suspicious i offered a forced smile back. We had small talk about how the buttons in the lift were crappy ( for some reason, the button for my floor doesnt light up) . Was still uncormfortable and apprehensive through out the conversation. Hey, cant blame me right, with all the news we read about in the papers and the 'flasher' running loose around vista *shudder*

But i must admit, i was more than happy that my doubts were proven wrong this time round. Because before he left he said with a most sincere of smiles:

"Take good care of yourself alright, take care. And once in awhile, give yourself a treat =) "

And after going through a week of rollercoaster emotions and the stress of preparing for the upcoming exams, it was just so upLIFTING to hear such sincere words from someone i hardly knew. To know that despite the coldness we sometimes find ourselves focusing too much on, there is still so much goodness and kindness in the world, it gave me a much needed renewed feeling of hope.

Do I believe in Angels on earth? haha....
I dont know, but mayb, just mayb if we showed the people around us that we care more often, it would be heaven enough.

To that uncle... Whoever you are, i didnt even manage get your name. Thank you. Even if it was the most simple thing one human could offer to another, a SMILE. I thank you.

ps: Look out for your own Angels out there people! They are out there somewhere, just gota open your eyes and hearts =)

The time now is 1.03pm

I'm in the elab.

The other 190-somthing students are waiting in the lecture hall.

We is the sitting ducks. Waiting for the bomb of our 1st summative results to drop.
